34th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

3 Ways to Register

 2008 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

Hello Club Members

As you know, we Connecticut Classic Chevy are hosting the 34th, 2008

International Convention at the  Rocky Hill Marriott here in
Connecticut. We have

hosted two other Conventions in the past with great success. Everyone we meet

from out of the State Chevy Clubs, always commend us for putting on two great

conventions. This is not only for 55 thru 57 Chevy's but also for 1958 thru 1972,

and all years of Camaro's and Chevelle's and Monte Carlo's up to 1972. The Rocky

Hill Marriott is so much better than the other Hotels we used for our last two

Conventions in many ways. This can be our best Convention yet, but we need your

help on our Committees so that we can be prepared for this huge event. The Hotel

already has 200 rooms booked, and we expect to have all of the rooms within the

next month. We have two other smaller overflow Hotels in the area which we also

expect to fill. Our last three regular meetings were devoted to the convention and

this Tuesday we will do the same. Please try to attend this Tuesdays meeting, and

any future meeting coming up so that we can finish forming these Committees so

 that we can assign duties.

This is very important for the  success of this Convention.

       Thanks, George Civitelli

34th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION

Pass The Line

In an effort to speed up the registration, tech check and classification process at our events, we are pleased to introduce our "Pass the Line" program for Show N Shine cars that have shown previously at one of our events, as well as all Cruisers.

Show N Shine participants:

If your car has been judged before at a CCC/WWC event, proceed to parking with your car and bring a copy of one judging sheet (with the tech check score recorded) from a previous CCC/WWC show. Report to registration and pick up your registration packet then report to classification. We will issue a new window card and judging sheets using the previous tech check score. Your vehicle does not have to go through tech check but you must fill out a new tech check sheet and judging sign up form.

If these forms are not filled out your vehicle is subject to disqualification.

Cruisers:

If you will not be participating in the 1000 point show and wish to display/show your car in Cruiser/Display, there is no need to get in the classification/tech check line with your car. Just proceed to parking with your car and check in with us at the registration table to receive your window card, name badges and other material.

It is our hope this will improve/speed up the classification/registration process and make the events more enjoyable for everyone!
